Our women's club is dedicated to supporting students pursuing postsecondary education in all forms, from skilled trades and technical training to two- and four-year college degrees. 

Each year, the GFWC-Manistique Women’s Club proudly awards a scholarship to a local student pursuing higher education, but after receiving 18 applications last year, we recognized an opportunity to make an even greater impact. It was difficult to know that many deserving students with the motivation and potential to succeed could not receive financial assistance simply because scholarship funds were limited. 

We hope to expand our scholarship program and provide additional financial support for education, training, and new opportunities. Additionally, we aim to broaden our mission by offering support to a woman returning to the workforce, pursuing a new career, or seeking additional education, certification, or training, recognizing that investing in women at every stage of life strengthens families and our entire community. 

We cannot accomplish this without the partnership of generous businesses and community members who believe that education changes lives.
